'Behind A Smile' Film

This short film is a poetic montage that was filmed and edited in Premiere Pro with an emotional response to the written word. I used the poem 'Behind A Smile', which I found on the Strawberry Post. I interpreted the poem as a silent call for help and to show a person in the state of being stuck in mind all alone. I took my interpretation and turned it into a film. I purposely showed no face and only the body and motions of a person, as these type of feelings and thoughts can happen to anyone. I also played with camera shots, motions, and editing to create my final piece.
