Plakatstil Posters

Bringing back the 1900s German poster style designs, I was asked to mesh it with our modern day world. I used two modern day objects, the Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP and the Instax Mini 11, and turned them into Plakatsil Posters. These types of posters heavily rely on shapes and symbolism instead of heavy text descriptions for idealistic promotions. The posters were a hit because of immediate subject recognition from people due to its bold typeface, primary image, flat colors, and its simplicity. Here I included my final designs, sketches, and research.
